My broad research interest lies in result-based research to develop and optimize crop husbandry/management practices to help growers and stakeholder with sustainable production technology. I want to research the Genotype-Environment-Management interaction and its effect on Oats' grain yield and quality formation. The followings are my key research areas-

  • Oats agronomy (Integrated Crop Management)

  • Physiology of resource use efficiency in Oats

  • Physiology of grain and quality development in Oats

  • Understanding and managing biotic and abiotic stress physiology in Oats

Theyazan Kelly
Technician WP2

Theyazan Kelly, based in Teagasc Crop Science, is working as a Technician in the Healthy Oats project. He earned his Bachelor degree in Agri-Environmental Sciences. Theyazan has brought the experience of working in agri sector. Previously he has worked as Crop and Lab Technician in UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science. He has also worked in Organic Delights and Setanta Landscapes as a farmer and gardener.
